The majority of our client work involves Management Consulting. We partner with a nonprofit organization to provide needed assistance in areas of operational or strategic challenges.
ESCC uses a team approach to our project consulting. We provide the guidance and the means for your agency to succeed. When we complete the project we leave you with the tools to implement the plan. By providing you with the means to succeed, you are more empowered to focus on mission and serving your clients and community.
Engaging ESCC in a project
After receiving your Request for Assistance, we meet with you to understand your needs in depth and assess and prioritize the ways in which we can help. We prepare a consulting agreement , detailing the scope, duration and cost of the project. We will then assemble a team, led by a project manager, to work with you.
Since all projects are customized it’s difficult to generalize but a typical project will last six months and have a team of three professional consultants working with you to the conclusion. You will then evaluate the project work we have completed for you to make certain we have met or exceeded your expectations.
“Executive Service Corps of Cincinnati’s greatest strength, in my opinion, is their ability to match a nonprofit agency’s need with the talent of their volunteers. They have completed half a dozen various projects for our agency and I have found that to be the case each and every time.”
Neil Tilow, President & CEO, Talbert House
“The business plan that our ESCC consultants helped create for Children, Inc.’s new for profit venture enabled the agency to compete — and win — a prestigious Community Wealth Ventures grant. And the program’s success has now allowed us to hire a full-time professional to market this new program”
Thomas J. Lottman, Deputy Executive Director
